As we wrap up another busy year of business, we've decided to focus our social media posts on Instagram rather than all the platforms. Check out Sienna Lynn Studio for colorful weekly updates!
NEW ERA | Wrapping up the full-building remodel that now has a new, fresh, modern energy. This building went from 80's beige and uninhabited, to bright and inviting (and soon to be 100% building occupancy).
ARCHITECTURAL | Transformation. Every time I step back into this building I feel a little giddy. Experiencing a vision come to life is the best feeling. We remodeled the entire first floor. Demo'd the left side of the first floor, opened it up and created new spaces: lounge, sitting area alcoves, large training room, ADA restroom, and open break room. I'm back here working on the upper levels to keep the classic modern vibe going.
Winter fatigue. That's a good way to describe how we're all feeling in Minnesota these days.
This past weekend we had a huge spring blizzard keeping most of us stuck at home. Making chili, drinking wine, playing hide-and-go-seek, play dough, and hanging outside in the snow. Definitely Plan B. More snow in the forecast for this week. We live in the deep-freeze from November through April (that's half of the year folks!) It's Minnesota and I'm used to this, but let me tell you, the spring fever is cray-zeeee! We're all in it together. Doing what we can to stay motivated and make the most of this time of year. Sunshine helps. Similarly when working through interior design phases, flexibility is key to a smooth project. I've found that Plan B sometimes IS the best.
We are celebrating 9 years of Sienna Lynn Studio over here! This time of year I reflect back and so many memories flash through my mind. I clearly remember the excitement (and fear) of leaving the large corporate architecture & design world to start my own business. The passion to create unique commercial spaces, and the desire to connect directly with clients, led me on this journey. I love that every project is unique. Every day is different. It's the creative challenges and the people along the way (contractors, venders, reps, clients, and friends) that make my job extremely rewarding. Each week I continue into the unknown just like I did nine years ago, but now the fear is replaced with confidence, while the excitement continues. Can't wait to see what this year brings. With gratitude, Jodi http://www.siennalynnstudio.com
VIBRANT | We partnered with the talented Stelie + Co. for this fabulous mural wall design. A windowless space transformed into a break room with pizazz. Bold and beautiful, I couldn't love it more. Thank you Stephanie for the collaboration!
When CSI Onsite tech company outgrew their space, they met with Sienna Lynn Studio to design a new office build-out that reflects their culture and re-branding. Out with the old tall cubicles, and terra cotta color scheme, and onto a larger space that's open, light, and 'techy'. Their new office is created with an open plan, lots of windows and natural light, lower walls with frosted glass above, new break room and private offices with barn doors for design and transparency. Other details include alabaster white walls with gray tones and bright branded-blue accents, lower workstations, and custom signage.
FRESH | A full building overhaul happening here. Lower level: stairs are brought up to code, new wood railings, steel cables, carpeting, additional lighting, art, and furniture.
We stayed busy working on lots of office interiors in 2017. Each office is tailored to the unique style of the business and brand. I'll try to post a few 'before and afters' here each month. Some are remodels and others are new build-outs. Thanks to all of our great clients past, present, and future... we will continue to create many more custom-designed interiors in 2018!

Sienna Lynn Studio designed a new shared office space for two businesses. The space features customized private offices based on individual needs, a new conference room, and a reception with beverage area. Original modern art throughout is bright and bold against the light walls.
Starting outlines for sienna lynn studio's new website. My goal is to have a new website rolled out by spring... but busy projects are pushing this to Fall. Anyone out there a pro at square space? I need to dive into this soon.
