"just as the caterpillar thought her life was over...she became a butterfly"

I saw this quote on a piece of art at the Galleria last week and it made me smile. I can relate.
I recently resigned from my job in the corporate world after 6 1/2 years to pursue new design opportunities and expand upon my freelance art. I guess you could say that I am in the cocoon stage, waiting for the butterfly to emerge! It is ironic that last week I also received this note card in the mail with a butterfly on it. I have it sitting next to my computer and I plan to frame it. I love the colors and painting style, as well as the inspiration for what lies ahead...
