"A Day at the Pond with Millie and Morton"
I created this series of circular paintings for a child's bathroom.
These whimsical characters add to every kid's favorite time of day: bath time!

zoo crew
I'm working on a series of paintings called zoo crew. Rad rhino and hip-hop hippo are my favorites so far. The vibrant backgrounds and colored edges make these funky animals pop from the square canvases!

flutter
Yesterday I finished two paintings:
"Butterflies & Dragonflies" for a little girl's room.
I had the windows open and my ipod on shuffle,
what a nice Spring day!

oliver and friends
I love how these paintings turned out for a baby boy's nursery! These have been top sellers from Sienna Lynn Studio, I've been commissioned to paint several versions of these colorful friends.
"Oliver and Friends" will look great over the dark wood changing table and near the retro owl mobile from modernnursery.com.

ahoy
These large comissioned paintings are for a baby boy's room with a mature nautical theme.
Hanging in the nursery wall, among large monogram letters and a striped ceiling, these sail boats are transitional enough to remain in the space as it becomes a "big boy room."

dropped bowl with scattered slices and peels

I This painting that captures the whimpsical spirit of the giant apple slices amidst unexpected architecture. (Installation located in Dada Park, Miami, Florida.) This large-scale sculpture by Claes Oldernburg was created just two years after he designed our Minneapolis iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry, a local favorite.
