Sienna Lynn Studio completed the interior design for a suburban Minneapolis office. This fast-track project was rewarding to see the client's vision come together so quickly! These computer technicians moved from a one room office to a much larger space, including a conference room, break room, and production area.

During a run earlier this Summer, I noticed some cool tree bark. I stopped to take a closer look and decided to use this color scheme in a future project.
This project: a large wall hanging with woven sticks which will incorporate these small canvases! Photos posted soon...

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to check out a rooftop exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. An evolving structure made of bamboo:

"Big Bambú is a growing and changing sculpture―a vast network of 5,000 interlocking 30- and 40-foot-long fresh-cut bamboo poles, lashed together with 50 miles of nylon rope. It will continue to be constructed throughout the duration of the exhibition. The first phase of the structure―measuring about 100 feet long, 50 feet wide, and 30 feet high―was completed by opening day, April 27. The artists and rock climbers are continuing to build up the eastern portion of the sculpture to an elevation of 50 feet. An internal footpath artery system grows along with the structure, facilitating its progress."

coffee shop make-over

I've been working on the interior design and re-branding of a local coffee shop. The new owner is anxious to get a fresh new look, while keeping the same great coffee and food that makes this spot so popular.
