The scenery of Minnesota's north shore is breath-taking. A weekend of relaxing, hiking, great food, and a ride on the new alpine coaster was just what I needed! The timing was perfect. I took a break from two commissioned paintings of birch trees and didn't realize I would spend the weekend surrounded by thousands of birch! I snapped a few photos and am now ready to finish the birch tree paintings!
